Draw-A-Day Monday 20th May – Abstractions

Good morning, I thought that this week we could look at abstract ideas and see what we can turn them into.  Copying from reality is an excellent way to improve our drawing skills, but it all becomes more interesting when we start to interpret the subject.  So let’s spend the week taking abstract words, and either using them to find something they make us think of to draw, or alternatively we can ‘draw from within’ so to speak, and create our own abstractions.  Remember to explore new mediums, colour, textures, and different ways to make marks, and above all, ENJOY.

So, today the word is FRIGHT
