Draw-A-Day Thursday 10th October – Blast From The Past

I hope that this process has stirred up some old memories for you,  which hopefully put a smile on your face.  I am not looking for any psycho-analysis here, but another interesting way I managed to dig a bit deeper into my memory bank was to take a key person in my life, namely my mother, and write down ten things about her and how I felt about her, and finally doing a drawing of her to illustrate my memory of her and my feelings about her; an exercise in emotional memory rather than anything representative.  (This could be someone from the past, or who is no longer with us).  Digging a bit deeper than how I felt day-to-day about her and my memory of her, I was surprised about what came out.  It is just quite comforting to allow ourselves a bit of time to reflect, look back, remember what made us the us we are!
